There is no denying my huge sweet tooth – but, for the most part, I try to stay away from unhealthy, high-sugar choices. The combination of Rich Chocolate Nuzest Protein and extra ripe bananas make this Skinny S’mores Protein Shake perfect for satisfying that sweet tooth, but also getting plenty of protein and other nutrients.

You might be wondering – if this recipe doesn’t use ice cream how do you get it so creamy?  This milkshake tastes so good that you will have a hard time convincing even yourself that there is actually no ice cream in here. Ripe, frozen bananas with Rich Chocolate Nuzest Protein Powder will make you feel like you are really “treating” yourself…….when you are secretly giving your body a healthy snack.

How to make this recipe

The recipe below for this Skinny S’mores Protein Shake is somewhat of a guide. Feel free to make changes as you wish. I went all out for the shakes you see pictured, but if you’re just making one for yourself to enjoy for breakfast or a snack; you may want to simplify things. Try using only one frozen banana, one scoop of protein powder, two tablespoons of graham cracker crumbs (don’t leave these out!! so good!), 1/2 tablespoon cocoa powder and skip the marshmallows and chocolate fudge sauce.

However, if you’re making them for dessert, to impress your kiddos or take that perfect Instagram shot, go all out. I even got fancy and dipped the rim of my glass in chocolate fudge sauce and then dipped it in graham cracker crumbs. Did you know that you can just buy a box of graham cracker crumbs? Makes things way easier. You can find them down the baking aisle. Before pouring my shake into the glass I added drizzles of chocolate fudge sauce to the inside of the glass. And to REALLY do things up – I toasted my marshmallows, laying them over a baking sheet that had been sprayed with cooking spray and broiling them on high for about 3 to 5 minutes. Maybe a little over the top for a post workout smoothie, but perfect for summer dessert with friends!

Notes

Before pouring my shake into the glass I added drizzles of chocolate fudge sauce to the inside of the glass. Maybe a little over the top for a post workout smoothie, but perfect for summer dessert with friends!
