Simple Skillet Avocado Brownies
I’m about ready to scream from the rooftop, that you MUST try my Simple Skillet Avocado Brownies! I’m pretty sure this is my favorite dessert recipe, on the blog. Ooey, gooey, irresistible avocado brownies baked up in an iron skillet for extra deliciousness!
You’d never guess, but these fudgy brownies also happen to be grain-free, dairy-free and Paleo. Surprisingly, this decadent sweet treat is made up of mostly all good-for-you wholesome ingredients. Almond flour/meal works so well to make a gluten-free super fudgy brownie with an incredible flavor.
I even snuck in heart-healthy avocado, which give the brownies an irresistible texture, and don’t worry because you can’t taste it at all. I love sneaking veggies in my dessert recipes to give them extra nutrients while keeping them scrumptiously indulgent!
I also used Eggland’s Best eggs to boost the nutritional value even more. The great thing about Eggland’s Best eggs is that they have 10x more Vitamin E, triple the B12, and 25% less saturated fat. With more than double the Omega-3s than regular eggs, Eggland’s Best also has 38% more lutein! They even stay fresher longer than your average egg! These are so much better than box mix brownies. They might just be the most perfect brownie- complete with a lovely flakey top and fudgy chocolatey center. Rich and moist without being too oily or dense- it’s going to take some major willpower not to eat the whole darn skillet of brownies!
