Hello Fashionistas! Get ready for yet another awesome Stitch Fix Review + Giveaway coming your way! My July 2016 Stitch Fix box was wonderful, per usual. My personal stylist, Tiff, does a great job of studying my Pinterest style board and just seems to “get” what I like.

July 2016 Stitch Fix Review

Meyer Tassel Clutch by Street Level | 38.00 | Keep

For all of my previous fixes, that would be 15, but who’s counting 🙂 I had requested that I not be sent bags of any kind. I’m not the type that likes to change out my bag. However, lately (especially when I’m feeling fancy) I’ve wanted to carry a clutch and not my huge “everyday” bag. I changed my profile and in my note requested that Tiff send me a clutch.

I actually pinned this exact clutch on my Pinterest “My Style” Board. Thanks so much, Tiff, for listening! I LOVE this little purse. The foldover look is super cute and I love that the shoulder strap is detachable.

The leather is really soft, the price is right, it’s a unique pretty color and a definite keeper! Score! I think this “Fix” may have started a clutch addiction. Check out this very similar Level 99 clutch and it’s on sale. Oh and this one, I just may have to snag. It has more room and black would go with most anything.

Jayd Crochet Detail Knit Top by Papermoon | XS | 48.00 | Keep

I love sleeveless tops in the summer and had quite a few pinned, but this Papermoon Knit Top was a complete surprise. It’s not one that I’ve seen on the Facebook Buy, Sale, Trade Stitch Fix boards, any other blogs or Pinterest. I wasn’t really sure how I felt about it on first glance.

I have to admit, nothing wows me about this top, but it’s cute enough, the fit is great, it’s comfortable and the crochet detail is a nice addition. This is also a top I can easily dress up slightly to wear to work. It’s a keeper! If you’re a fan of the crochet detail, this Lucky Brand top and this one too are super cute. I paired it with Kate Distressed Boyfriend Jeans by Kut From The Kloth (<—on sale) from my March Fix.

Yikes… the picture below is a little close. But I must show you two of my most recent items from Rocksbox. If you’re not familiar with Rocksbox, it’s similar to Stitch Fix where you receive a shipment of items. Here are a few more details for those of you interested:

  • Rocksbox is a premium jewelry subscription that carries popular brands, like Gorjana and Kendra Scott.
  • You have the opportunity to complete a style profile and also add available items to a personal wish list. You will then be sent 3 jewelry pieces by your stylist.
  • You get to try one month completely free with no commitment to continue. It’s a win-win! Sign up here and use the code KIMLBFF3.
  • If you choose to continue after the FREE month, there will be a $19 monthly fee. You will get to keep and enjoy your jewelry pieces as long as you’d like on loan. You can get as many shipments as you’d like to try.
  • Like with Stitch Fix, you can make special requests. Perfect if you have an event coming up or if you’ve been eyeing a particular Kendra Scott necklace.
  • Of course, you can purchase any of the pieces you receive with a great discount off of the retail price.
  • You will be provided a prepaid shipping label, and envelope so sending back your box is super simple.
  • Don’t worry- each piece is sanitized and cleaned thoroughly before it is sent out. I’ve never been able to tell that a piece was not new.
  • As an added bonus, there is a Shine Insider Reward Program that gives you $10 Shine Spend every month. You can use it that month to purchase your favorite piece. You can also earn Forever Spend by referring friends, which can be used immediately, or can be saved to use for a future purchases. Loving this service!

I don’t know if I’m going to be able to part with the Kendra Scott Brenden Earrings in Gold or the Elise M Selene Necklace in Ice Druzy, I was sent last month. I’ve already worn them both a ton!

Nik Cropped Skinny Jean by Liverpool | 2P | 88.00 | Keep

In my note to Tiff, I let her know that I wouldn’t mind receiving more cropped jeans from Liverpool. I absolutely love my skinny capri Liverpool jeans from my June Fix. She came through in a major way! I’m in love with the color and fit of these jeans. Capri or cropped jeans are a favorite of mine because I can wear them to work during the summer months.

There was no question… I’m keeping these babies! Here are some similar cute, colorful Liverpool cropped jeans. I couldn’t find a similar double bar style ring, but this one is from my most recent Rocksbox shipment. Bracelet is from James Avery.

Another awesome Rocksbox delivery included these House of Harlow 1960 Triangle Trellis Drop Earrings in White shown below. These earrings are super unique and I’ve already received so many compliments on them.

Zola Knit Dress by Loveappella | XS | 58.00 | Keep

I’ve went back and forth with whether or not to keep this dress. I had it pinned, but after receiving it and trying it on, I realized the material is very thin. The first time I tried it on, I felt that it did nothing to flatter my figure and I knew I would need some type of slip to wear underneath, which would be another purchase.

After trying it on a second time and getting some family members’ opinions I’ve decided to keep it. A friend that received the same dress also recommended a cheap slip from Amazon that worked great for her. I haven’t received my slip yet, so I’m not wearing it in these pictures. I’m hoping it does a little something to pull everything together, if you know what I mean. Nordstrom carries the dress, but offers different colors.

The shoes that I’ve paired with the dress are Link Espadrille Wedges by Yellow Box (<—-on sale) and I received them in my April Fix. They are the perfect dressy, but not too dressy summer wedge. I’ve been wearing them like crazy and they’re pretty comfortable too. You can also see them, above, paired with my Liverpool cropped jeans.

I tried the dress paired with my American Eagle denim jacket, (<—–similar jacket and on sale) which didn’t look too bad.

Then, I paired it with the Benson 3/4 Ruched Sleeve Blazer by 41 Hawthorn (<—similar) from my February Fix. I really liked this look and my son (and photographer) gave it two thumbs up too! I really like this blazer too and this one is very similar and on sale.

Lawford Knit Top by Market & Spruce | XS | 58.00 | Keep

This knit top was a new-to-me item, but after sharing my Fix on a Facebook Stitch Fix page, I’ve learned it’s pretty popular. I can see why, it has some really cute details and is very comfortable. I have to admit, though, I wasn’t overly excited about this one.

Summers in Texas are brutal and I’m living in sleeveless shirts and tanks. However, I know once I go back to work and I’m sitting in a chilly office daily, I’ll get plenty of wear out of this top. This one is as similar as I could find. I paired it with my favorite Liverpool skinny jean capri skinny jeans that I received in last month’s Fix. They’re stretchy and fit like a glove. Very similar Liverpool skinny capri jeans can be found on Amazon.

You can see a few other Rocksbox finds in the picture below. They are some of my faves, especially the Kendra Scott Elisa Necklace in Ivory Pearl which pairs well with most anything. Also super cute and versatile is the Nakamol
Beaded Leather Wrap Bracelet. Here’s a link to the oh so comfy Sanuk yoga mat wedges that can be found on the Zappos website.
