Gingerbread Hot Cocoa (Naturally Sweetened) + A Christmas Light Scavenger Hunt
If this Gingerbread Hot Cocoa + A Christmas Light Scavenger Hunt doesn’t get you in the holiday spirit, I don’t know what will!
My family has quite a few Christmas traditions, from baking and decorating cut-out sugar cookies and Christmas morning brunch to our annual trip to see a Christmas show. All are quite special, but my favorite is loading up in the car with our Dixie® To Go cups full of hot cocoa (and coffee for me), plenty of homemade chex mix, dressed appropriately in our festive holiday PJs and scouting out Christmas lights around town.
With a leak-resistant lid, Dixie® To Go cups are perfect for liquid treats, even with the kiddos! I don’t have to fret about chocolate spills in my car or anywhere else. No effort, no clean up, no worries. More time to focus on checking items off our Christmas Light Scavenger Hunt.
Scroll all of the way down to the bottom of this page for a convenient printout copy of your very own Christmas light scavenger hunt. I print one list for each child, so they can both mark off as we go. And because there is so much to see, we have one rule- you may only check off one item per house. I hope your family has as much fun with this as mine does!
This homemade gingerbread hot cocoa is wonderful for chilly mornings or frosty afternoons! Even if you don’t get a chance to use the Christmas light scavenger hunt, don’t miss out on the deliciousness of my family’s favorite hot cocoa. It’s:
warm and cozy
Enjoy your cocoa on-the-go and keep it extra steamy in Dixie® To Go cups, with an insulated layer for the most awesome Christmas light viewing experience. And be sure to snap a photo of your family’s Christmas light scavenger hunt adventure and tag #kimscravings on Instagram! I can’t wait to see the holiday fun you’re having!!
