It’s finally time to share with you my very favorite things at Costco. I’ve posted about my go-to products from Trader Joe’s and all of the awesomeness at Vitamin Shoppe, but now is the time to talk buying in bulk.

I have to be honest with you- I took these pictures months ago, but these “favorites posts” take me a really long time to write up. All of the pictures are just so time-consuming to upload. Since I’m on summer break, I have a little extra time to put this together for you. Consider it my gift to you for being such awesome readers! 🙂 Enjoy!

Favorite Things at Costco

These aren’t the only products that I buy at Costco, but these are some of my favorites and the ones that I felt like you guys would be most interested to see. I tried to include prices in the pictures the best I could. I shop at the Costco in Fort Worth, Texas and prices may vary depending on where you live. Shopping at Costco does require a membership with a membership fee. You can read all about that on the Costco website. I have the executive membership and I will say that with the reward check that I get each year, it has always paid for itself. Costco will let you walk around the store and check things out before actually buying a membership, too.

Favorite Things at Costco

Costco is my favorite place to buy nuts. From making our own nut butter to frequently baking and cooking with nuts, my husband and I go through our fair share of mainly almonds, but other nuts sometimes too. Costco sells raw almonds, walnuts, pistachios and pecans. They also carry other nut varieties; like roasted and flavored.

I try to steer clear from these coconut cashews– they’re not the healthiest, but they sure are tasty. Oops, I missed the price, but I think they’re about 10 bucks.

Brad goes through homemade almond butter at an incredible rate, so I buy this huge 3 pound bag of raw almonds monthly. Price is 16.89 per 3lb. bag.

Fairly recently a quality brand almond flour became available. You can find Honeyville almond flour for 22.99 for a 3lb. bag. Sorry for the horrible picture. I was trying to get the price and product in the same pic.

Next up is snacks, chips and crackers. During the school year, it definitely comes in handy being able to buy snacks in bulk. The kids have to have an afterschool snack and since I work at the school and we usually have activities afterward, they’re not able to eat a snack at home.

I’m a huge fan of KRAVE jerky. This brand has a great ingredient list and I think it was a 3.25oz. size bag, but I can’t quite see the size in the picture. We’ve also purchased Pacific Gold jerky (sold at Costco) and it’s tasty and healthy too.

Love Annie’s! The kids and I were so excited when Costco started carrying Annie’s mac & cheese, fruit snacks and crackers. 11.99 for 36 packs.

One of my favorite snacks are these apple chips. I love that there are no added ingredients… just apples, that’s it. These are so good dipped in almond butter!

Mary’s Gone Crackers are some of my favorite crackers- great ingredients with a lovely flavor.

And my husband’s favorite snack. I actually love combining this Skinny Pop with the Bare Apple Chips for a crunchy salty tart snack. A 12oz. bag is 3.59.

Our family’s favorite chip. Food Should Taste Good multigrain chips and crackers definitely taste good!

We love Back to Nature snacks. This is another newish product Costco is carrying and they also are carrying the Back to Nature mac & cheese. 9.99 for 24 packs.

Mateo’s Gourmet Salsa is wonderful, if we don’t have homemade salsa, this is our go-to.

Kirkland’s Organic Salsa is priced really well and is also yummy.

Costco has a really good selection of nut butter. We used to buy the Maranatha brand at Costco, but we always make our own now. They also carry a couple of other brands of all-natural brands, including our favorite NuttZo.

Oop… I completely missed the maple syrup in this pic. I love the maple syrup from Costco and it’s a great price for such a large jug of quality syrup and we go through this stuff pretty quick.

With all of the cooking and baking that goes on at my household buying coconut and olive oil in bulk is a must.

Speaking of cooking and baking, I buy many of my frequently used seasonings from Costco. I like the vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, cumin, garlic powder and salt, sea salt, Himalayan pink salt, chili powder… just to name a few.

I haven’t tried this flour, but I’ve heard really great things about the Namaste brand of gluten-free flour.

PureVia Stevia is must for my coffee, smoothies and more.

Some frequently used canned goods I buy are black beans, garbanzo beans and diced tomatoes.

My favorite brand of tuna is Wild Planet and I love that I can get a ton of it at once for way less than at the normal market.

And the canned salmon is a great buy too.

If you go through plenty of grains, like quinoa or brown rice, Costco is a great place to purchase these products. They have a wide variety and here are a few.

With the amount of oats Brad and I go through, it’s great to really stock up.

Let’s head over to the produce department. Bananas from Costco… YES! I really stock up because I love brown bananas, especially for this Strawberry Banana Bread and multiple other recipes, smoothies, two ingredient pancakes and the list goes on.

And sweet potatoes! 5.79 for 5lbs.

Dates are a great natural sugar source and are a must for homemade Larabars (which by the way, Costco sales). Stock up and make my Banana Date Blondies… you won’t be sorry! 8.49 for 2lbs.

I haven’t been on my carrot kick lately, but when I was eating baby carrots everyday, I bought them from Costco.

Love adding beets to my salads!

I typically make my own chicken salad, but this one is very tasty and made with Greek yogurt. Great for a quick grab-n-go lunch, when you don’t have time to make your own.

Veggie burgers are another food that I would prefer to make on my own, but when there’s no time, these are great.

Great bread at Costco. Costco also carries Rudi’s gluten-free bread products.

Over in the frozen foods department, I buy Organic Chicken, wild-caught Alaskan Salmon, frozen shrimp, Amy’s burritos and many other items. Pictured below is a very tasty pre-marinated salmon product.

Costco’s frozen fruit is top-notch. Love that they carry organic frozen fruit. Perfect for us smoothie queens!

A few other items I purchase from Costco are Chia seeds, ground flax seeds, Greek yogurt (they carry Fage and Chobani) and I noticed last time I was in they are now carrying Kodiak Cakes brand pancake/waffle mix. You guys know how I feel about that! Also, Costco always has lots of samples available around the store, which is really fun for trying out new products and getting a quick snack. 🙂
