Calphalon Tri-Ply 1.5-Qt. Pot
This smaller pot is great for heating sauces and leftovers. I love the classic style of these quality pots!
Year of Yes: How to Dance It Out, Stand In the Sun and Be Your Own Person
Amazing read that anyone can relate to. I listened to this on Audible, which was awesome because Shonda Rhimes actually tells the story.
The Silent Sister
This is a page turner, with surprising twists and turns, you won’t want to put it down.
The Help is one of the best books I’ve ever read. I connected so much to the characters. I wept during the hard chapters and found myself laughing out loud at times. The movie was really good too!
Eating in the Middle: A Mostly Wholesome Cookbook
I have followed Andie’s blog for years. This book is a perfect mix of healthier recipes (with nutritional info and a picture for every recipe) and her witty stories. I’ve made several recipes from this book and they were all great.
The Skinnytaste Cookbook: Light on Calories, Big on Flavor
Gina’s blog is one of my favorites and her cookbook is fabulous too. This cookbook is organized well, has gorgeous photos and is great for someone who is looking to start eating healthy but is unsure of what to cook.
Magnolia Table: A Collection of Recipes for Gathering
This cookbook includes a lot of practical, special family recipes with normal, easily accessible ingredients; some used at their restaurant. I’ve made several of the recipes with success.
Cravings: Recipes for All the Food You Want to Eat
I was a little skeptical since it’s a celebrity cookbook. A month later, I am reaching for this book almost exclusively over others. Everything I’ve made (15 recipes so far) has hit it out of the park.
Hunger Games Trilogy
The Hunger Games Trilogy is so good!! I enjoyed the books and movies so much. The first book was probably my favorite, but I didn’t want any of them to end. I listened to them on audible.com while walking Max and I was never so excited to take him on his walk each day!
The Almost Moon
Another great one from Alice Sebold! A woman steps over the line into the unthinkable in this brilliant, powerful, and unforgettable new novel by the author of The Lovely Bones and Lucky.
By the same author as Lucky, I absolutely love this book. I know it’s a movie now and I haven’t seen it, but the book is great.
This is a memoir that one of my favorite authors wrote, about being raped in college. Alice Sebold has a way of really pulling you into the story; like you’re actually right there with the characters.
A definite page turner that will keep you guessing and on your toes until you’ve turned the last page. I recommended this for a book club selection with my book club group and everyone loved it.
One of my all time favorite books. Unbroken is such an inspiring read and based on a true story.
Calphalon Tri-Ply 2.5-Qt. Pot
I used to think a pot was just a pot, but this quality tri-ply pot boils water faster than my old pots.
Calphalon 12″ Nonstick Covered Omelet Fry Pan
This 12 inch pan is perfect for risotto, paella, omelets, etc. The handle stays cool on the stovetop. These pans are oven safe too!
Lodge 10” Cast Iron Skillet
This skillet is great for smaller tasks, like cooking grilled cheese sandwiches and reheating leftovers.
Lodge 12” Cast Iron Skillet
Cast iron pans are non-toxic and last forever. This large size is heavy but indispensable in my kitchen.
Le Creuset 3-1/2-Quart Dutch Oven
This smaller size would be great for a couple or small family. It makes everything taste better.
Le Creuset 5-1/2-Quart Dutch Oven
This enameled cast iron pot is great for larger quantities of soups and pasta. Looks great on the table, too.
Crock-Pot 6-Quart Slow Cooker
Love this slow cooker for easy, delicious meals, like my Slow Cooker Jambayla.
Cuisinart Immersion Blender
I love my immersion blender! It’s easy to use, cleans up quickly and is great for pureeing soups right in the pot.
My go-to for zoodles and other spiralized veggies. Works like a charm and is easy to clean.
