Are you ready for the Best Chex Mix Recipe ever? This snack is absolutely irresistible! It's not your everyday Chex cereal mix that you can find at the grocery store. Instead, we have a beautifully golden, buttery, savory, salty mix of crunchy goodness that will have you reaching for more until the very last bite. It’s easy to make and everyone loves it!
1 1/2cupsmixed nuts(I like Planters brand containing: peanuts, almonds, cashews, Brazil nuts & pecans)
2cupsbite-size pretzels(I like to use original seasoned Dot's Homestyle Pretzels)
2cupsgarlic-flavor bite-size bagel chips or regular-size bagel chipsbroken into 1-inch pieces
1cupmelted butter(I use unsalted butter because there's plenty of salt from the nuts, pretzels, bagel chips, Worcestershire sauce and seasoning salt.)
3tablespoonsWorcestershire sauce
2 1/2teaspoonsseasoned salt(I recommend Lawry’s)
Instructions
In a very large bowl, combine the Chex cereal with the nuts, pretzels and bagel chips.
In a small bowl, mix melted butter with Worcestershire sauce and seasoned salt. Pour butter mixture over cereal mixture and toss to combine.
Line a very large sheet pan (20x14-inch) or two pans with foil. Transfer the cereal mixture to the sheet pan(s) and spread out as evenly as possible. Bake at 250ºF for 45 minutes total, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool for about 30 minutes before storing in airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks.
Notes
Freezer option: If you want your Chex mix to last longer than a couple of weeks, store it a freezer-safe container and freeze it for up to 3 months.
