Ingredients

  • 3 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
  • 3 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
  • 2 cups Wheat Chex™ cereal
  • 1 1/2 cups mixed nuts (I like Planters brand containing: peanuts, almonds, cashews, Brazil nuts & pecans)
  • 2 cups bite-size pretzels (I like to use original seasoned Dot's Homestyle Pretzels)
  • 2 cups garlic-flavor bite-size bagel chips or regular-size bagel chips broken into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup melted butter (I use unsalted butter because there's plenty of salt from the nuts, pretzels, bagel chips, Worcestershire sauce and seasoning salt.)
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt (I recommend Lawry’s)

Instructions

  • In a very large bowl, combine the Chex cereal with the nuts, pretzels and bagel chips.
Mixing Chex mix, pretzels and bagel chips in a large bowl.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter with Worcestershire sauce and seasoned salt. Pour butter mixture over cereal mixture and toss to combine.
Pour melted butter over Chex mix.
  • Line a very large sheet pan (20x14-inch) or two pans with foil. Transfer the cereal mixture to the sheet pan(s) and spread out as evenly as possible. Bake at 250ºF for 45 minutes total, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool for about 30 minutes before storing in airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks.
Add Chex snack mix to a large baking sheet lined with foil.

Notes

Freezer option: If you want your Chex mix to last longer than a couple of weeks, store it a freezer-safe container and freeze it for up to 3 months.
