1cupunsweetened vanilla almond milkany milk will work
1/2cuppeanut butterI used all-natural crunchy PB from Trader Joe's
1/4cuphoneyuse maple syrup for a vegan option
3smallripe bananasabout 1 cup, mashed
For the chocolate drizzle (optional):
2tablespoonschocolate chipsI use Enjoy Life brand mini chips. They are vegan.
1/2teaspooncoconut oil
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 8 x 8 baking pan with an all-natural cooking spray and set aside.
Combine all bar ingredients in a medium bowl and pour into the prepared baking dish.
Bake for about 30 minutes and until toothpick comes out clean.
Allow bars to cool for about 20 minutes before cutting and serving.
If using chocolate drizzle- warm chocolate chip and coconut oil in a small microwaveable bowl for 20 second intervals, stirring each time. When chocolate is melted, use a spoon to drizzle over the tops of the bars. Enjoy!
Notes
Chocolate and PB are a classic combo. You could also melt peanut butter or peanut butter chips to drizzle on top for even more decadence.
