Ingredients

Use this list as a guide. These were the ingredients used to create the charcuterie board you see pictured, but feel free to experiment and make this board your own!

    CHEESES:

    • goat's cheese
    • sliced cheddar cheese
    • Brie round, cut into wedges

    MEAT:

    • prosciutto
    • salami

    CRACKERS:

    • multigrain and thin white snack crackers

    FRUIT:

    • watermelon, cut into wedges
    • pineapple, cut into wedges
    • strawberries
    • sliced peach

    OTHER ACCOMPANIMENTS:

    • pecans
    • jelly
    • honey

    GREENS:

    • fresh rosemary

    Instructions

    • Take cheese out of the fridge and let it come to room temperature for 30 minutes to 1 hour before serving.
    • Add all ingredients to a large cutting board or serving platter. Start with cheese and meat, then place bowls on the platter. Next, add fruit and other accompaniments, and tuck your greenery into any leftover space to help your charcuterie board look plentiful. Enjoy!

    Notes

Substitutions. Use this “recipe” as a rough guide – feel free to use your favorite ingredients or use what you have on hand. Some other ideas I love are crostini, cherry tomatoes and fresh figs. Use Burrata, manchego, fresh mozzarella, or blue cheese in place of any cheeses here.
Equipment. I used a large serving platter for this meat and cheese plate. You can also use a rustic looking baking sheet, wooden cheese board or a regular cutting board. Serve cheese with cheese knives and use small spoons for honey and jelly. Don’t worry about going to purchase fancy tools for your charcuterie board. Shop your own kitchen!
