Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound)
  • 1/2-1 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  • Place 1/2 cup BBQ sauce and raw chicken in a large baggie. After closing baggie, move chicken around in baggie to coat completely. Place baggie in the fridge and allow chicken to marinate at least 1 hour or overnight.
  • Coat a large skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat. Place chicken in skillet, cover and cook for 5 minutes. Turn chicken, replace cover and cook an additional 5 minutes or until chicken is cooked thoroughly.
  • When cooked completely, brush or spoon additional BBQ sauce over the chicken. Cook 2-3 more minutes, as needed to warm chicken with BBQ sauce.

Notes

Use your favorite barbecue sauce, whether it's spicy or sweet.
