3/4cupunsweetened dairy-free milkI like vanilla cashew or vanilla almond milk
1-2cupsfresh baby spinach
1/2banana, previously peeled, sliced & frozen
1small pear, cored
1/2teaspooncinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
1cupice
optional extras: vanilla protein powder (I like Nuzest), ground flax seeds, chia seeds, nuts, nut butter (I use about 1 1/2 teaspoon almond butter), pomegranate seeds for topping
Instructions
Add milk and spinach to blender and blend on high for a few seconds. Add all other ingredients and blend until smooth. If too thick, add a splash more milk. If too thin, add a few more ice cubes. For more sweetness, add extra frozen banana, a packet of stevia or a seeded date.
Pour into large glass, top with pomegranate seeds and enjoy!
