Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup unsweetened dairy-free milk I like vanilla cashew or vanilla almond milk
  • 1-2 cups fresh baby spinach
  • 1/2 banana, previously peeled, sliced & frozen
  • 1 small pear, cored
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup ice
  • optional extras: vanilla protein powder (I like Nuzest), ground flax seeds, chia seeds, nuts, nut butter (I use about 1 1/2 teaspoon almond butter), pomegranate seeds for topping

Instructions

  • Add milk and spinach to blender and blend on high for a few seconds. Add all other ingredients and blend until smooth. If too thick, add a splash more milk. If too thin, add a few more ice cubes. For more sweetness, add extra frozen banana, a packet of stevia or a seeded date.
  • Pour into large glass, top with pomegranate seeds and enjoy!

Notes
