MI-DEL Pie Crust
For the filling:

apples, cored and diced or sliced*
2
heaping cups fresh or frozen cranberries
2
teaspoons
cornstarch or arrowroot starch
¼
cup
maple syrup

teaspoon
cinnamon
For the topping:

cup
Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
½
cup
Almond Meal/Flour
¼
cup
coconut or brown sugar**

teaspoon
cinnamon

tablespoons
coconut oil melted (other oils or butter will work)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine all filling ingredients in a medium bowl. Then, pour into pie crust.
Rinse out bowl and in the same bowl, combine all topping ingredients. Then, sprinkle the topping over the filling.
Bake for 35-40 minutes. Allow pie to cool slightly before spooning out.
Serve warm and with vanilla ice cream, Greek yogurt, cool whip or coconut cream, if desired.
Notes
*I used gala apples. There is no need to peel them. **I used coconut sugar for my recipe and for the calculation of nutritional information.
