If you're looking for a healthy turkey burger recipe, that's super juicy and full of flavor, you've found it! These Healthy Zucchini Turkey Burgers are low in calories, but high in protein and deliciousness. They're always a crowd pleaser, so fire up the grill!

Ingredients
  • 3/4-1 cup grated and squeezed zucchini
  • 1 lb lean or extra lean ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs (use gluten-free, if needed)*
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup finely diced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
  1. After grating the zucchini, squeeze the moisture from the zucchini using paper towels.
  2. In a large bowl, combine zucchini, ground turkey, breadcrumbs, garlic, onion, onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper. Make 5 equal patties (about 4 ounces each).

  3. GRILL: Clean grill and spray with a nonstick cooking spray. Cook burgers on medium heat about 4-5 minutes minutes on each side, or until cooked through and no pink remains in the center.

  4. STOVE: Heat a large nonstick skillet on high heat. When hot, lightly spray with nonstick cooking spray or add about 1 teaspoon of oil to the pan. Add burgers to the pan and reduce the heat to medium. Cook on one side until browned, about 4 minutes. Flip and continue to cook about 4-5 more minutes and until burgers are cooked all the way through and no longer pink in the center.
