Homemade Protein Coffee Frappuccino- A lightly sweetened, irresistibly creamy, easy frappe that's healthy enough to enjoy for breakfast.
about a handful fresh baby spinach leaves
scoop chocolate protein powder
or other favorite flavor
1/2 to 1
whole ripe frozen banana
unsweetened vanilla almond milk
any milk will work
cold brew coffee*
packet Zing™ Zero Calorie Stevia Sweetener
more or less to desired sweetness
Optional: 1 cup ice
1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum if you like a super thick frappe, 1-2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa for a bolder chocolate flavor
Add all ingredients to the pitcher of a high-speed blender and blend on high until fully combined. If mixture is too liquidy, add more ice.
*I use store-bought cold brew coffee. Alternatively, make a cup of strong coffee the night before and refrigerate overnight. Use more or less, depending on the amount of coffee flavor you desire.
