The Most Perfect Pumpkin
This little pumpkin, William Paul, made his entrance at 12:42 on Halloween! His due date!! He weighed in at 8 pounds, measured 20 inches long and is the most perfect little bundle of joy.
Alexis, my daughter, what a strong beautiful woman she is! Labor began at 11:00 am on Thursday. It didn’t start off horrible, but by that evening she was definitely in quite a bit of pain. She went to the hospital about 10:00 pm only to be sent home. They told her it was either false labor or very early labor. The pain never let up and the contractions continued to get stronger, so at 8:00 am on Friday she went back to the hospital determined that she would not be leaving. At this point, she was in a considerable amount of pain.
Labor went on all day, Friday, and Alexis did so great. She doesn’t typically handle pain real well, but she was such a trooper! I think Will wanted his birthday to be on Halloween because 42 minutes after midnight he made his grand entrance. Will’s father, my mom, Brad and I were all able to witness this amazing event. An experience that will be with me forever.
This baby… such a sweetie. I cannot get enough! Aunt Madelyn is in love too. She’s finally talking about something other than horses! 🙂
Uncle Landen’s pretty proud and excited too!
I’m overflowing with joy and my heart is full of love! Will, we are going to have so much fun with you. I can’t wait to share my life with you and show you all the greatness this world has to offer. xoxo
