Stitch Fix – October 2015
Hello, Fashion Friends!
It’s Stitch Fix time! Today, I’m sharing the goods from my October 2015 Stitch Fix shipment. Last month, I received an AWESOME box and October’s Fix is just as wonderful!! Even better because I had downloaded the free Stitch Fix app, so I was able to track my fix, check out online, schedule my next fix and even upload a selfie for my stylist to see directly within the app.
I’m fairly certain that you know all about Stitch Fix… it’s becoming SO popular. But just in case you don’t, hop over to my first Stitch Fix post and get all the deets! If you’re already a Stitch Fix subscriber, but haven’t been so lucky with getting great boxes, be sure to check out my advice for how to get the most out of Stitch Fix!
For this Stitch Fix review, I decided to change things up and post a video of the unboxing on Periscope. Periscope is an app where you can view live videos. Download it on your mobile device and follow me at kimscravings, if interested. Sorry it’s a little blurry, but you get the idea. It also ended up a little too long to download to YouTube from my phone. If you know of a better way, please let me know.
Mauli Stitch Detail Knit Top by Mavi | XS | 48.00 | Keep
This knit top was the one item I was really unsure about. I liked that it was lightweight, yet long sleeve. The perfect item for seasonal transitioning in Texas. After trying it on with some Gap dressy flared jeans, I really liked the look for dressing down just a bit, at work. I wore the very next day and even received a compliment!
And from the back. I spy a little someone watching from the window. 🙂
And another shot.
Palomares Swiss Dot Blouse by Daniel Rainn | XSP | 68.00 | Keep
And I wore this Swiss Dot Blouse (similar) the very next day, to work, with some Gap slacks. Right after taking this one out of the box, I knew this would be a keeper. The color is beautiful for the holiday season and I love that it’s comfy, yet dressy too.
And from the back. The same-colored cami comes under the top. Love the gathering in the back for extra shape and a flattering fit.
Dayna Skinny Jean by Kut From The Kloth | 4 |88.00 | Keep
I was specifically wanting some colored skinnies and red could not be more perfect! I really love the fit of these and they are so soft. I do have to pull them up at times and maybe could have worn a size 2, but these will definitely work and a size 2 may be too small. This weekend has been a rainy one and these paired perfect with my rain boots for dinner and a movie.
Pierina Textured Colorblock Peacoat by THML | XS | 108.00 | Keep
Before trying this on, I wasn’t so sure if I would like this peacoat. It fit absolutely perfectly and I especially loved that it wasn’t too heavy- again a perfect pick for Texas in the fall and winter. It’s also a dressier jacket, which I so needed. I wore it this weekend and I loved it!
Nova Scotia Plaid Infinity Scarf by Mangrove | 38.00 | Keep
I’m a huge fan of infinity scarves and I had pinned (<— my style board) a few to give my stylist an idea that a plaid scarf would be a welcomed addition to my fall fix. I adore the unique colors in this particular scarf and have several pieces that I know will look perfect with it.

I think this is the most expensive fix I’ve received, yet. I do want to note, though, when setting up your fix, you’re able to set your price point. I really don’t think this price is too outrageous considering I received outerwear, a very high quality blouse (Daniel Rainn), a nice pair of skinny jeans and more.
