Stitch Fix #5
TGIF! I don’t usually pop in on Friday, but how about a Stitch Fix post? It’s been too long. Believe it or not, these post take me forever and aren’t as easy for me as recipe posts. What can I say- “food talk” just spills from my mouth!
I’ve found the best way to get an awesome fix is to create a fashion Pinterest board that is shared on your Stitch Fix profile. Also, my first fix was perfect, so for the last few shipments I’ve requested that same stylist, Tiffany. If you find a stylist that “gets” you, I definitely recommend making a stylist request.
I sent a note to Tiffany letting her know I was good on shorts, but tops I could wear to work would be greatly appreciated. As a crazy busy mama, I just don’t have lots of extra shopping time- Stitch Fix saves the day and this girl’s wardrobe!
Stitch fix #5 features another stylish selection of clothes chosen by my personal stylist, Tiffany. I can’t wait to show you what was inside my most recent fix. As you scroll through the photos, feel free to pin your favorite styles to your fashion board on Pinterest to give your personal Stitch Fix stylist a little more insight into the kind of clothes you fancy.
Maritzia Scoop Neck Blouse
The first item that caught my eye was this unique Maritzia Scoop Neck Blouse from Pixley ($48). It was so unique, in fact, that at first glance I wasn’t quite sure if I would like it. After pairing it with my favorite Kensie Skinny Jeans (from my first fix), I knew this top would be getting lots of wear! Keep! I’ve already worn it several times and each time received multiple compliments. By the way the Kensie skinny jeans are some of the best jeans I’ve ever owned. I even went to Amazon and bought some different colors. If you’re interested- I’m a size 2-4 in pants, weigh 118 and I’m 5′ 2.5″ and the size 27 fits like a glove.
Wynn Front Pocket Blouse
Right when I pulled the Wynn Front Pocket Blouse by Papermoon ($48) out of the box, I knew it was a winner. Keep! It’s just so me… perfect for work (it looks really professional dressed up with a pencil skirt) and I’m a huge fan of touches of pink.
This is the perfect example of something I never would have tried on had I been browsing through the mall. On first glance this Linda Dress from Brixon Ivy ($48) was just ehhh. But right after slipping it over my head, I knew it was a Keeper! It’s really flattering and so comfy. It’s perfect for work, play or even a maternity photo shoot!
And a baby shower!
Tonia Beaded Wrap Bracelet
The Tonia Beaded Wrap Bracelet from Zad ($28) was an item I pinned to my style Pinterest board and it went perfectly with the Linda Dress, so how could I not Keep! it?!?!
Kiley Ankle Zip Legging
The Kiley Ankle Zip Legging from Rune ($48) is the one item I probably wouldn’t have kept had the 25% buy 5 discount made these free. By the way the discount was $60 off! Wowsers! I’m sure I’ll get plenty of wear out of these once the colder months are here, but they just didn’t wow me. Keep!
I’ve already received Fix #6 and I can’t wait to share it with you! Another winner, for sure! Get in on the fun- click on the box below to see what all the fuss is about and fill out your own style profile!
