Mojito Mint Green Tea Watermelon Smoothie- a refreshing, hydrating and a healthy way to start the day.
I have never tried using any other liquid in my smoothies other than almond milk, but I had to change things up after receiving a sweet shipment of Skinnygirl Mojito Mint Green Tea, along with some other fabulous products, from the Skinnygirl herself, Bethenny Frankel.
I cannot even put into words how wonderfully tasty the Skinnygirl Mojito Mint Green Tea was and it paired so perfectly with the watermelon flavor in this smoothie. I also love that these are pods and so convenient to make in my brewing machine.
Not only am I head-over-heals for the green tea, but I was also sent a couple bags of chocolate goodies and they are fabulous. These are great to have on-hand when you just want something a little sweet. Since Skinnygirl Brand focuses on portion control and not diet, these treats are the perfect size and so yummy.
As a busy mom, always running from one activity to another, I’ve loved having the Skinnygirl Sparklers to grab for a refreshing treat, especially in this summer heat. Sparklers are made with 100% natural colors and flavors. In fact, all of the Skinnygirl products are created with distinctly high standards for ingredient quality, nutritional content and taste.
You guys are going to go nuts for all of the fun Skinnygirl finds and for this delicious Mojito Mint Green Tea Watermelon Smoothie! It’s:
A little tart
Minty with a light mojito flavor
And so summery!
This smoothie is perfect for breakfast, workout fuel or an anytime, summer cool down treat. Give it a try and if you do, be sure to snap a picture and tag it @Kimscravings and @skinnygirlbrand on Instagram, so we can see. Enjoy, friends!
- 1 1/2 cups frozen watermelon cubed (black seeds removed)
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/2 ripe banana previously peeled, chopped and frozen
- 3/4 cup Skinnygirl Mojito Mint Green Tea previously brewed and chilled
- 1/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk optional for a creamier consistency*
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder optional
- 1/2-1 cup ice for desired consistency
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth, adding ice for desired consistency. Enjoy immediately!
*I added the almond milk after blending all other ingredients because it didn't seem quite as creamy as I would have liked. The 1/4 cup almond milk did the trick.
Something to think about….
