Hi, guys! I hope your weekend is off to a fun start!

I’ve seen this survey floating around the blogosphere and it’s been quite some time since I’ve posted a survey, so here we go…..

1. What did you eat for breakfast?

Oatmeal pancake topped with kiwi and banana slices….yum! I changed the recipe up just a little bit and used 1 whole egg and 1 egg white. I also didn’t use blueberries.

2. How much water do you drink a day?

I don’t know the exact amount, but I do carry a water bottle around with me and try to drink as much as possible.

3. What is your current favorite workout?

I’ve been switching things up quite a bit lately with running, Jillian’s Body Revolution or a class at the YMCA. I did a Body Combat at the gym on Monday and loved it. I plan to take that class again this coming Monday.

4. How many calories do you eat a day?

I’m not counting calories right now and I know it varies from day-to-day. On a normal basis, I think it’s around 1500, give or take.

5. What are your favorite healthy snacks?

Snacks are my favorite…..well, besides breakfast! My go-to snacks are apple slices with nutbutter, baby carrots, veggies & crackers with hummus, a nut/date ball or bar {homemade or a Larabar}, and fruit.

6. What do you usually eat for lunch?

Lately, I’ve been on a major salad kick. I change it up, depending on what’s in my fridge and what veggies or leftovers that I have on hand.

7. What is your favorite body part to strength train?

I see definition in my shoulders, so they’re fun to work. My legs are pretty strong, so I like to see how heavy I can go with squats. But leg workouts really take it all out of you!

8. What is your least favorite body part to strength train?

Triceps and biceps. These areas are my weakest areas, so the workouts are just super hard for me. Tricep dips are just plain killer!

9. What are your “bad” food cravings?

I’m pretty much always craving ice cream or froyo!

10. Do you take vitamins or supplements?

I really go back and forth with whether or not I should take vitamins. My feeling on vitamins, right now, is that I eat enough of a variety of fruits and veggies that I don’t need vitamins.

11. How often do you eat out?

This varies depending on the time of year. During the school year, we tend to eat out a little more because things are so busy and we’re running the kids from place-to-place. During the summer, we usually eat out or grab take out once or twice a week.

12. Do you eat fast food?

Very seldom and I only go to very select places; like Chipotle, Which Which and Subway.

13. Who is your biggest supporter?

Brad and my parents.

14. Do you have a gym membership?

Yes, but the kids are at that age that they hate going. I usually only go, if Madelyn is not with me.

15. How many hours of sleep do you get a night?

I really try to get eight hours of sleep, but most nights I get around seven.

16. Do you have a “cheat” day?

No. I make a conscious effort to make healthy choices for all of my meals. If I’m eating out or want something that’s not so healthy, I don’t feel bad about splurging.

17. Do you drink alcohol?

Rarely. Brad never drinks, but I enjoy drinking socially with friends or my mom and sister every once in a while.

18. Do you have a workout buddy?

Well, if you count Max then, yes! My sister also goes to the same gym that I do, so it’s great when she goes to the same class, like BodyPump or Body Combat that I’m attending.

19. What is the best thing that has changed about your life since committing to a healthy lifestyle?

I feel better about myself and I feel better in general. It’s a great feeling to know that you are making the best choices that you possibly can to lead a long healthy life!

20. What was the last healthy thing you did?

Signed up for a BodyPump class for this morning!
