Birthday Cake Protein Oatmeal and About Time Protein Products
Easy, high-protein oatmeal that tastes just like dessert… yes, please! This fun, colorful, delicious bowl of Birthday Cake Protein Oatmeal gets the cake flavor from About Time Birthday Cake protein powder. Its sweet, buttery taste will make you feel like you’re eating dessert for breakfast, but your body will thank you for this nutritious meal, to start the day!
I have loved experimenting with About Time’s line of protein powders. They have such a variety of fun flavors. To create my tasty Birthday Cake Oatmeal, I simply cooked 1/2 cup of oats in 1 cup of water (like normal) and when they were just about cooked, I added the birthday cake protein powder (you could use vanilla), 2 Stevia packets, a splash of unsweetened vanilla almond milk and a little vanilla extract. After transferring oats to a bowl, add sprinkles or whatever other toppings you prefer. YUM!
I was especially pleased to see the nutritional stats of About Time’s protein powders. They all are gluten-free, non GMO and taste great. They are also lactose-free, sweetened with Stevia and don’t contain any artificial sweeteners. With 24-25 grams of Isolate protein and only 100 calories, the About Time protein powder packs a major punch! For all of my vegan friends- About Time also carries an equally yummy vegan protein powder.
I created a refreshing protein mocha banana frappuccino with the chocolate protein powder. To enjoy this fabulous snack; combine about 1/2 scoop or 1/2 packet of About Time’s chocolate protein powder with 1/2 a frozen banana, 3/4 cup leftover coffee, 1/4-1/2 cup almond milk and Stevia. I will definitely be recreating!
Not only does About Time carry a huge variety of protein powders, they just launched a protein pancake mix. I’m so glad I got the opportunity to give this pancake mix a try because I’m in love and I can honestly tell you that I will be purchasing this myself, when my supply is gone.
Even my picky kiddos- yea, you know the ones, gobbled these pancakes up. We tried the cinnamon spice, but there is also a chocolate chip variety that I can’t wait to try. These wonderful protein pancakes are gluten-free and super simple to make- just add water!! They have 21 grams of protein per serving and 6 of grams fiber. Each serving is 2 six inch pancakes with 10 servings per container. What you see on the pictured plate is one serving- I was able to make 3 medium-sized pancakes.
Another very cool product that About Time offers is fruit and nut bars with added protein. These are very similar to other fruit and nut bars, but About Time bars have added protein for building those muscles. They have been so perfect for a grab-n-go snack that the kids and I can enjoy when we’re running errands.
