Happy Monday, friends! Hope your weekend was fabulous! Our’s was busy with errands and such, but we did manage to squeeze in some fun too. Saturday, the kids and I went on our weekly grocery haul and then grabbed one of our favorite lunches for a picnic in the park.
Healthy grab-n-go meals can be really hard to come by, but I know I can always count on Zoës Kitchen to deliver. Have you tried Zoës? So good! They offer the quality of a fresh, home cooked meal, with the convenience of fast casual. Another plus, my picky kiddos actually enjoy it too!
A quick picnic in the park was a great way to take a break from our running around and catch up with each other. Such easy, cheap entertainment. Plus, with this beautiful weather we’ve been enjoying in Texas, it was quite the treat. Of course, there was some complaining about bugs and such, but that’s just part of nature, right?!
I do love that my kiddos are getting old enough to have somewhat grown-up conversation. I also loved that there was no complaining about the meal! The new Zoës kids menu offers more choices and adventure for the more sophisticated palates of my kiddos. I didn’t get a chance to snap a picture, but Landen’s shrimp kabobs were delish. Madelyn opted for grilled chicken and veggies and she cleaned her plate.
I chose salmon kabobs and they were so fresh and juicy, just like I would have cooked at home. View the entire Zoës Kitchen menu and find your picks. Just a fair warning, there’s lots of yummy choices… I had a really hard time deciding.
As a health conscious mom, I appreciate the variety of made-from-scratch, healthful options on the new expanded Zoës kids menu. And as someone who strives to make nutritious choices for myself too, I so enjoy the food from Zoës Kitchen.
At Zoës, my family and I can eat what we love, and love how we feel. I love when nutritious food tastes so delicious!!
Something to think about….
