Whew….April sure flew by didn’t it!! We always say that don’t we, but it’s true…summer will be here before you know it. And more importantly, I only have a little over a month of work until I’m off for a 2 month break! Yahoo!

Since we’re here on the last day of the month, I’m going to share my favorite posts of April.

The top post for April, according to most views was Egg Talk and a Crustless Spinach Quiche Recipe. This also just happens to be one of my favorite recipes of the month, too!

Another favorite in my opinion and according to views, your’s too. National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day was on April 2nd, so I followed the theme and posted a delicious PB&J Breakfast Cake. I need to make this again soon!

This month, I posted my go-to smoothie recipe, my Banana Almond Smoothie. I’ve been craving smoothies like crazy! Unfortunately, my blender is really loud and I’m afraid I’ll wake up the house with my smoothie making.

With this Creamy Lemon Pasta I was pleasantly surprised that my Chobani could make such a yummy cream sauce. This pasta is great by itself or used as a salad topper.

If you want to give the very BEST hummus a try, you must make this. It’s super easy too!

With all of the horrific events this month from the bombing at the Boston Marathon to the explosion in West, Texas; April 2013 will never be forgotten. The Boston Marathon tragedy deeply saddened all of America and even outside of America and the running community really felt effected. There was quite a few posts around the blogosphere addressing and discussing the bombing. My post, Dear Running, was directed toward running. I think most runners or anyone who has run a marathon could relate to those runners out there and felt a bond toward them.

Something to think about…
