Labor Day has come and gone, so I think we can officially say it’s apple season. And I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with this irresistible Apple Pie Protein Smoothie!
Fall is right around the corner. Are y’all excited? My mind (and appetite) is already in full swing of fall EVERYTHING! Today, we’re kicking off the fall season (a tad early, but WHATEV) with this delicious Apple Pie Protein Smoothie!
It may have hit 90 degrees yesterday, but let’s think cool weather, falling leaves and the smell of fresh baked warm apple pie filling your home. That’s essentially what’s encompassed by this smoothie! I’m
sorry not sorry if I become the ultimate fall-obsessed food nerd over the next couple of months, but that’s pretty much all I can think about right now.
This blend of juicy apple chunks, wholesome oats, creamy Greek yogurt, vanilla protein powder and caramely dates will satisfy your cravings for the all-American dessert while fueling your body with plenty of nutritiousness. A healthy apple pie in a glass! Yes, please!
The taste of apple pie in smoothie form, but without all of the guilt. Now that’s something I think we can all get down with. I love inventing new smoothies to shake things up for breakfast or snacktime and this one sure hits the spot!
Feel free to get creative and make this Apple Pie Protein Smoothie your own. A few ideas to change it up: add a frozen banana, a tablespoon of peanut butter or use less liquid and make this smoothie into a smoothie bowl topped with granola. The possibilities are endless!
Ready to make this smoothie? As always, I love hearing from you guys! Be sure to tag your #kimscravings creations on Instagram and let me know what you think of the recipe!
