decisions, decisions

Happy weekend to you all!!

Last night was very low-key. Brad and I were both exhausted, so we spent the evening watching TV and lying around. I got caught up on Grey’s Anatomy from Thursday night and it was a really good one. I also managed to eat the other half of my kabocha squash topped with 3 egg whites, almond butter, pomegranate arils, and a drizzle of honey. This is a recycled photo and I forgot the chia seeds last night….oops.

This morning I’m busily working on a new recipe to serve your sweetie on Valentine’s morning. Just a little hint….it’s pink!

After taking some pictures, I’ll go ahead and scarf my experiment down for breakfast. No BodyPump for me today….there are waaaaay too many items on my agenda, so it will be a quick run on the treadmill. I may give this treadmill roulette (music edition) a try.

I’m planning this Cottage Cheese Tuna Salad for lunch. I’ve been craving this tasty tuna for weeks now and I finally have all of the ingredients to put it all together.

Later this afternoon, Landen has a gymnastics meet and Madelyn is going over to a friend’s house for a birthday party and sleepover. Then tonight, it’s a mother-daughter date. We’re either going to see Les Miserables or Silver Linings Playbook and going out to dinner. While watching the Golden Globes, she mentioned wanting to see Les Miserables and I had said I really wanted to see it too. But now I’m really wanting to see Silver Linings Playbook. Maybe I can talk her into it…..either way, I know we’ll have a great time and I’m sure either movie will wonderful.

Something to think about…..

Do you like tuna salad or are you more of a chicken salad person?

What do you think…..Silver Linings Playbook or Les Miserables?

Do you make any special foods for Valentine’s day?

What plans do you have for today?
