I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed time with family, friends and FOOD!
Who’s planning on or already has participated in a little Black Friday shenanigans? As your reading this, I’m more than likely partaking in a little of those shenanigans myself. I’m not crazy nuts about it or anything, but I have several things for the kids I’d like to try to get a good deal on. And more importantly, I’m all about having a fun day shopping with my mom without the kids in tow. 😉
Thanksgiving Day was started off with some Cranberry-Orange Pumpkin Muffins; which by the way, is a great way to use up your leftover cranberries and pumpkin. Check out the recipe here.
No snacking going on around here! That’s right, I was saving up all of my belly space for Thanksgiving lunch! 😉
For the Thanksgiving lunch, I brought over the following: Lightened-up Fresh Green Bean Casserole, Quinoa, Sweet Potato and Dried Cranberry Stuffing, Pan Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Pumpkin Pecan Pie Bars . I adapted all, just slightly and my adaptations will be up on my recipage sometime this weekend.
After lunch, my husband, kiddos and myself went to see The Life of Pi. We all really enjoyed it. I really want to read the book now!
Dinner was pretty much a repeat of lunch and breakfast! 😉
All and all…. a great day. Hope all of you can say the same!
