A Game of True or False

Lets have a little fun today with a game of true or false. Giselle at ahealthyhappyhome.wordpress.com played this first and I thought it would be fun to join in.

I take a daily vitamin:  False

I’ve went back and forth with this quite a bit. At this time, I’m not taking any kind of vitamin. For the most part, I eat quite a bit of veggies and I feel like I’m getting pretty much all of the nutrients I need from my food. However, I know many doctors recommend a multivitamin just to ensure you’re actually taking in the nutrients you think you are.

I have painted my bedroom:  False

When my husband and I bought our house 9 years ago this month {wow! time really flies}, the house was newly painted and we’ve only painted the kids’ rooms. My bedroom and bathroom are definitely due for some TLC.

I have worn hand-me-down clothes:  True

When I was pregnant with my first child, a friend that had just had a baby gave me a bunch of her maternity things to wear. I have bought a few things at Plato’s Closet. I’m really not much of a second-hand shopper, though. It’s just too frustrating and time-consuming to search through tons of clothes only to find a few things you like.

I have had a broken bone:  False

Never broken a bone and hopefully I never do. My kids are also broken bone free! My husband, though, is a different story.

I play video games:  False

I actually love games; video or board games, but at this time I’m not currently into playing any games. A couple of years ago, I was addicted to Words With Friends and Hanging With Friends, but that got old. Also, when I was little, my brother would stay up into all hours of the night playing Mario Brothers on the Nintendo {the original}. Fun times!

I have been in a submarine:  True

If you count the Finding Nemo ride at Disneyland, then yes, I’ve been in a submarine.

I have been to Disneyland: True

Oh that’s funny! Before I typed my answer to the previous question, I hadn’t read this one. I went as a very young child and don’t remember that time. Then, the Summer of 2010 my family, my husband’s sister’s family and my in-laws all went. It was the best trip I’ve ever been on! Such fun! I’m really hoping to take my kiddos to Disneyworld before too long.

I am an aunt/uncle:  True

My sister has two beautiful girls.  My husband’s sister has two kiddos, one boy and one girl. My brother and his wife don’t have any {yet}. All of my nieces and nephew live nearby and my kids love spending time with them.

I have a scar on my knee:  True

It’s pretty small and I don’t even remember what I did to it.

I text more than I call people:  True

I’m not a big phone person, unless I’m catching up with my mom or talking to my husband during the work day. For quick little messages, I would rather just send a text, unless I have to explain something in great detail.

I have been a bridesmaid/groomsmen:  True

I have been a bridesmaid three times and one of the times I was the maid of honor.  Once in a high school friend’s wedding, once in my sister-in-law’s wedding and a maid of honor in my sister’s wedding.  I love weddings!

I am married:  True

I’ve been married for 16 years and although all marriages go through good and bad times. I feel so lucky to be married to someone who knows me so well and always has my back.

I have had a surprise birthday party:  False

I’ve never had one myself, but I threw one for my sister’s 30th b-day last year. She didn’t suspect a thing and it was such a blast!

I drink coffee: True, True, True

What did I ever do without coffee? I really don’t know!  I got my husband hooked on the stuff several years ago and now he drinks more than me. We’re going to be that elderly couple that just pours one cup after another all throughout the day. Wait!!!!! He already does that! 😉

Something to think about…..

Now that you know a little more about me, tell me something about you.

LOVE New York City. Growing up I always thought that I would live there sometime until I became more realistic and realized I definitely could not afford it. Thinking about it now, I think it would be fun for awhile, but ultimately I might miss the suburban/smaller city lifestyle. Either way, it is a great place to visit!

Your entire family is left handed except for you? That is pretty unusual!
