A to Z

Yay….it’s Friday and it is going to be a GREAT 3-day weekend! On the agenda: back-to-school clothes shopping with Alexis, grocery store, cooking, workout, and mani/pedi.

I’ve seen several posts around the blog community, going A through Z and giving your favorite thing for each letter. I know I’m a little late to the party, but it’s a Friday funday, so let’s have some fun!

A- Alexis. My beautiful 15-year-old daughter, who is becoming a smart independent woman before my eyes. Where does the time go? It seems like just yesterday she was laying on the couch watching Barney. 😉

B- Brad. My biggest supporter and best friend.

C- coffee. In the morning, at night, on a hot day, on a cold day, Foldger’s, Starbuck’s……it really doesn’t matter.

D- Destin, FL. Visited over Spring Break and I loved this place. I will be going back, if not forever ;), than at least to vacation.

E- eating. No words needed here.

F- family. Love them all so much!

G- Grey’s Anatomy. My very favorite show. Awesome acting and I can’t wait for this season to begin!

H- healthy. For obvious reasons. 😉

I- ice cream. Easily one of my favorite desserts.

J- jogging. My favorite way to stay in shape, push myself, let off steam, or just be alone in my own thoughts. Let the endorphins flow!

K- knitting. My sister-in-law taught me how to knit a couple of years ago. I made a scarf and almost finished a baby blanket. One of these days I’ll get back into it.

L- Landen. My sweet, loving and compassionate son.

M- Madelyn & Max. Both are super cute, smart, fun, and can always make me laugh.

N- nuts. I am nuts for nuts, any kind, especially when made into nutbutter, paired with dried fruit, or sprinkled over ice cream, salads, oatmeal, yogurt…….the list goes on.

O- Olympics. I’m completely obsessed right now. I’m actually ready for them to be over, so that I can go to bed at a decent hour. 😉

P- peaches. If you have been reading the blog for any length of time, then you know that this is my Summer obsession, besides the Olympics, of course.

Q- quilts. I absolutely love quilts, especially the old ones that have a story behind them. One day, I would love to take some classes and actually learn to quilt. Maybe when I’m 70. 😉

R- reading. I love curling up with a good book. Right now, I do most of my reading listening to books on my phone while in the car. If you’re interested, Audible.com is a great site for downloading audio books.

S- Summer. The season that I most love. Not so much for the weather, but for the break. Anyone that works in education, knows exactly what I’m talking about.

T- taking Max for his morning walk. Going on a daily morning walk around the block, clears my head and gets me ready to start my day.

U- Uggs. “U” words are hard! I still love my Uggs….they are perfect for walking Max on cold mornings.

V- vacations. I definitely don’t take enough of them, but the one’s that I have taken are cherished forever. There are always so many special memories made when I’m with my family on vacation. Some priorities are Disneyworld, Costa Rica, somewhere in the mountains, and a tropical island.

W- waves. It’s a bit of a stretch, but since I used Brad for B, I didn’t get to list beach. Being on the beach with the sound of the waves and the sand in my toes is my favorite place to be.

X- exercising. I know I cheated, but x is just too hard.

Y- yogurt. Frozen yogurt might actually beat out the ice cream above as my favorite dessert and greek yogurt is one of my favorite go-to snacks.

Z- ziplining. This had been on my “bucket list” for awhile and over Spring Break I finally got to do it. It was so fun, now I just want to do it again.

Any fun plans on the agenda for the weekend?

Pick a couple of letters and give me a word that tells something about you.

Have a fantastic weekend everyone!!
